Patch Roundup: Subway Robbed at Gunpoint, Man Killed in Plane Crash

Also this week: a rare Spider-Man comic fetches over $10,000, an inspiring fundraiser is held for a wounded Afghanistan veteran and Burr Ridge has a brand-new restaurant.

A lot of Patch coverage this week was focused on Thanksgiving-themed topics, but there were certainly also major events throughout the west-suburban Chicago area that didn't have to do with turkey (or your meal of choice.)

Out in the further west, we found some negative news with a scary robbery and a tragic plane accident; closer to the city, we have more on the positive side with a lucky attic find and an inspirational fundraiser. And in-between, a nude guy, a fake kidnapping and a crazy cool high-school lip-dub!
