Last Chance: Easter Egg Hunts Set for Saturday
Pre-registration is required for those who want to eat breakfast with the Easter Bunny at KLM Park.
Sunday is Easter, so that means Saturday is Easter Egg Hunt Day.
The Community House, Hinsdale Center for the Arts, and the Village of Hinsdale Parks and Recreation Department are hosting the annual hunt at Katherine Legge Memorial Park Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
"Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, festive spring crafts and entertainment will make this event fun for the whole family," the event's Patch listing proclaims.
Pre-registration is required for the breakfast. Call the Parks and Recreation Department at (630) 789-7090 to reserve your spot.
By no means is the KLM hunt the only one on the docket Saturday. Churches around town are hosting their own this weekend, as well.
Check out this event listing for The Union Church of Hinsdale's hunt. It runs from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and features refreshments, an Easter story, and the Easter Bunny. (Busy guy.)
The Evangelical Covenant Church of Hinsdale is hosting a hunt at 10 a.m., too. See the church's website for more details.
In neighboring Westmont, West Hills Community Church booked the Easter Bunny at their hunt, as well. They've also got a moon jump and coloring contest.
And the best part? It's at 1 p.m. so you can swing by after your morning hunt and double up on the goodies.
