Hinsdale South Announces Homecoming Parade Route
The 1.1-mile Hinsdale South Homecoming Parade route will begin at end at Darien Community Park.
It'll be about 60 degrees tonight when the Hinsdale South Homecoming Parade starts, according to weather.com. For those of you who are planning to folow the Hinsdale South Homecoming Parade route, the parade will start at Darien Community Park, head west on 71st Street, north on Richmond, east on 70th Street, south on Bentley and then back east on 71st Street, back to the park.
Temps will fall to 57 degrees when the Stinger Bowl is scheduled to begin in the stadium and will be at about 55 degrees when the bonfire is scheduled to start in the stadium. So bring a jacket, come dressed for fall weather and don't forget to bring a camera to take all those pictures you're going to upload to Patch!

The last minute change in the parade route was chaotic and disappointing. May people stood by the library for a parade that never came. What was done to inform all those parade guests of the change in venue?

Hi Jim, the school's principal sent out an email that day to parents. We posted the change as soon as we could and let folks know on Facebook, as well. Sorry that happened to you.
