Hinsdale Man Charged After Hit-and-Run Accident: Police Blotter

Hinsdale Man Caught After Hit and Run

David F. Shutack, 60, of the 300 block of West 59th Street, Hinsdale, was charged with driving on a suspended license and leaving the scene of an accident after police say he was involved in a hit-and-run accident in Hinsdale at 3:20 p.m.

Shutack was stopped in Burr Ridge by Burr Ridge Police at 4:43 p.m. after his information was sent out on police radio. When he was stopped, police said, his car appeared to have fresh damage, and officers discovered his license was suspended. Shutack was released on bond to appear in court.

SUNDAY, OCT. 7

Jaguar Driver Hits and Runs

A complainant reported that while he sat in his car parked in the St. Isaac Jogues parking lot at 1 p.m., his car was hit by a maroon Jaguar whose owner drove off without exchanging information.

Police said an estimate of the damage to the victim’s car was not known at the time of the report.
