Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills Pools to Wrap Up Season on Labor Day
There's only a few days left to visit the Hinsdale Community Pool and the Lions Park Pool as school has begun and summer winds down.
The Lions Park Pool, located at 100 Byrd Ct., will undergo expansion and improvement after the Clarendon Hills Village Board voted to approve an amended special-use permit.

The Hinsdale Community Pool and the Lions Park Pool in Clarendon Hills will close for the summer after Labor Day, according to the Village of Hinsdale Parks and Recreation Department and the Clarendon Hills Park District.
Meanwhile, Woods Pool in Burr Ridge wrapped up its season over this past weekend.
Here are pool hours in effect during the final days of summer:
Lions Park Pool
- Tuesday: Closed
- Wednesday through Friday: 3:30 to 8 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Monday: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Hinsdale Community Pool
- Tuesday through Friday: Closed
- Saturday and Sunday: 12 to 8 p.m.
- Monday: 12 to 6 p.m.
