Friday's Morning Report: Live Acoustic Duo to Play at Scapa
The weekend is here; get it going with these important items from Patch.
1. The band Cirrus Falcon will perform Friday night at Scapa Italian Kitchen in Clarendon Hills. Cirrus Falcon was voted "Best Acoustic Band" by Best of the 'Burbs in 2008 and 2010, and they'll start playing Friday at 7:30 p.m. See the event's Patch listing here for more info.
2. There's a 40 percent chance of snow showers Friday and the high temperature will reach 31 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Wind gusts will reach 25 mph. Friday night, the 40 percent chance of snow will stick around, temperatures will dip to 14 degrees and wind chills will be as low as -1.
3. The Community House in Hinsdale is hosting its weekly "Ageless Yoga" class Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. The class is designed to develop strength and flexibility primarily for those with limited mobility. See the event's Patch listing here for more info.
