Hinsdale South quarterback D.J. Deolitsis ran for two touchdowns in a 53-0 blowout of Proviso East Friday night in Darien, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
Hinsdale South moved to 3-0 after winning their West Suburban Gold conference opener. Proviso East fell to 0-3, according to IHSA's standings.
The Hornets led 39-0 at halftime, the Sun-Times reports. The Pirates had only one first down and failed to gain 20 yards in the first 24 minutes.
Hinsdale South is 3-0 for the first time since 2004. The Hornets play at Addison Trail Friday at 7:30 p.m.
