Football: Hinsdale Central Still No. 12 in State, Chicago Sun-Times Says
It's the second straight week the Red Devils came in at No. 12; they beat Proviso West 34-25 Friday night.
After opening its West Suburban Silver slate with a win over Proviso West, Hinsdale Central's football team was again ranked No. 12 in the state according to the latest Chicago Sun-Times rankings put together by Mike Clark and released Monday.
In last week's rankings, Clark had Hinsdale Central at No. 12 in last week's rankings, as well.

Senior quarterback Brian Owens completed 15 of 27 passes for 302 yards and four touchdowns Friday night as the Red Devils beat Proviso West 34-25 in Hillside, according to the Sun-Times.
Hinsdale Central is 3-0 and faces powerhouse Glenbard West at home Friday night. The Hilltoppers are No. 3 in Clark's rankings.
In the latest Chicago Tribune rankings put together by Mike Helfgot and released Saturday night, Hinsdale Central ranked No. 20. It's the third straight week the Red Devils have been Helfgot's No. 20.
