Final Twinkie Shipments May Be Coming to Area Jewel-Oscos Today
According to the Jewel-Osco Facebook page, this may be the final shipment of Twinkies in the country.
Twinkie lovers may have one last chance to nab their favorite cream-filled snack today and tomorrow.

For some, the world won't end on Dec. 21—it already did on the day the Twinkies disappeared.
There may now be one last chance to nab a box before they’re gone for good.
According to Jewel-Osco’s Facebook page, their Chicagoland locations may be receiving the last shipment ever of Twinkies, as well as Zingers, Ding Dongs and Orange Cup Cakes.
They will be available starting today, Tuesday, Dec. 11 at local Jewel-Oscos while supplies last.

Patsy Does not the saying go " You dont appreciate something until you dont have it". There was nothing like a fresh loaf of Wonder bread with a Peanut butter and Jelly sandwich and for dessert a Hostess cream filled cupcake and a cold glass of milk.What a lunch ! Wish things could have been handled differently! Merry Christmas

I feel cheated for our grandchildren to have Hostess as a treat Too bad things arent taken care of and figured out cut backs to make such a loss happen.

Based on early interest in the brands, I have no doubt Twinkies, etal. will live on. But if you feel cheated on behalf of your grandchildren, you can always offer them something homemade from your own kitchen. Taste is superior, and so is the quality.

I know someone who tried to make homemade Twinkies. They weren't very good. Trying to copy a product sold in grocery stores can be difficult.
