What is the primary reason you are running for this office?
Given my experience with village governance, in particular with financial issues, this is the most sensible way for me to serve the community and take a turn shouldering some responsibility for prudent governance.
What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?
Continuation of the fiscal discipline established over the past four years.
What sets you apart from the other candidates?
Long engagement with village issues and in-depth understanding of the village finances.
What is your favorite thing about Hinsdale?
The tight community of smart, engaged, and interesting people, making this a wonderful place to raise our family.
What is your least favorite thing about Hinsdale?
Being captive to the financial and political irresponsibility of Illinois.
Do you support continued exploration of a Hinsdale-Clarendon Hills police department merger? Why or why not?
If there are significant financial benefits to both communities from a police department merger, the concept should be investigated.
