Driving Under the Influence

MONDAY, MARCH 4

Damielle N. Winters, 27, of the 400 block of Beach Avenue, La Grange Park, was charged with DUI, DUI .08 or more, speeding and improper lane usage. Officers stopped Winters at about 1:05 a.m. at the intersection of Ogden Avenue and York Road in connection with improper lane usage when she was observed to be under the influence of alcohol, police said. She submitted a breath sample with a BAC over .08 and was released to appear in court.

SATURDAY, MARCH 2

Dheeraj Shrivastava, 35, of the 300 block of North State Street, Chicago, was charged with DUI, DUI .08 or more and improper lane use. Police said they stopped Shrivastava at 2:03 a.m. on the 500 block of West 55th Street related to improper lane use when he was observed to be under the influence of alcohol. He submitted a breath sample with a BAC over .08 and was released to appear in court.

THURSDAY, FEB. 28

Amy Lynn Barthel, 27, of the 7500 block of Oak Grove Avenue, Justice, was charged with DUI, DUI .08 or more, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving an uninsured vehicle and improper stopping on street. Police stopped Barthel for the improper stop at about 12:55 a.m. Feb. 28 at the intersection of Chicago Avenue and Garfield Street. Barthel was in possession of an open alcohol container and was observed to be under the influence of alcohol, according to a police report. She submitted a breath sample with a BAC over .08 and was released to appear in court.
