1. The Clarendon Hills Park District's annual "Movie in the Park" event takes place Friday night at Prospect Park. The movie begins at 8:30 p.m. "This year's film feature will be 'Tangled,' a Disney animated film based on the classic fairy tale of 'Rapunzel,'" the free event's Patch listing reads. "Please bring your lawn chairs and blankets out to Prospect Park for a 'reel' good time!" 

2. Skies will start cloudy Friday but gradually clear, and the high temperature will reach 74 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. There's a 30 percent chance of rain before 1 p.m. Friday night, mostly clear skies and a low of 57 are expected. 

3. There's a five-family garage sale going on this weekend in the 800 block of South Bodin Street in Hinsdale. The event begins at 9 a.m. Friday. "Seasonal items, baking items, plates, comforters, bikes, furniture, couch, lamps, ladies clothes size 10-12, kids clothes, legos, purses, shoes, and jewelry.
