Classic Kids Photography's Smooches for Pooches Promo Underway: Tuesday's Morning Report

Sunny weather, District 181 summer school, and flag football at The Community House are other important things to know about Tuesday, June 12.

 

1. The Smooches for Pooches campaign, put on by Classic Kids Photography to benefit Hinsdale Humane Society, is underway and will run through the summer. "Book your 'Smooches for Pooches' mini pet photo shoot [at Classic Kids] for $95 during June, July and August and $50 from every shoot goes back to the Hinsdale Humane Society," the event's Patch listing reads. "We raised $1,000 for HHS last year, help us double that and raise $2000 this year!"

2. Skies will be sunny Tuesday and the high will reach 76 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tuesday night, skies will remain mostly clear and the low will fall to 54 degrees.

3. District 181's summer school program begins Tuesday. The program will be held at Madison School in Hinsdale and will run through July 12. 

4. It's Flag Football Tuesday at The Community House in Hinsdale. The class begins at 2:30 p.m. "This high energy non-contact football camp teaches the fundamentals of the sport including passing, receiving, blocking, routes, and more," the event's Patch listing reads. 

5. This morning on Patch is a story about a new plaque at Hinsdale South High School honoring Hornet Swim Club coach and former Hinsdale Central All-American Swimmer Bryan Bateman, who died in a car accident three years ago.
