Chemical Pesticides Being Applied Around Hinsdale
The Village of Hinsdale put out a release detailing where the pesticides will be applied and how long to avoid those spots.
Burlington Park is among the areas being treated with chemical pesticides beginning this week.

The following is a release from the Village of Hinsdale:
On or after Sept. 17, 2012, the Village of Hinsdale will apply chemical pesticides to control weeds at the following locations: Memorial Hall, Burlington Park, Burns Field, 4th Street islands, and Veeck Park.
TriPower Selective Herbicide (EPA Reg 228-262) will be used, which will be applied as a liquid spray or from a truck mounted boom.
Do not enter this area one day after application. Signs will be posted on the site to confirm application.
Health Safety Information relating to this chemical pesticide application will be made available at the Village Hall.
