Attempted Break-in, DUI, Homes Egged: Police Blotter

TUESDAY, FEB. 5
Ruby Street Egging
A resident from the 300 block of Ruby Street reported at 10:36 a.m. that someone egged the home some time before Feb. 1. Police said the eggs were aimed at an upstairs window.
SATURDAY, FEB. 2
Possible Break-In Attempt Reported
Employees at a business in the 0-100 block of Park Avenue reported at 6:46 a.m. that it appeared someone had tried unsuccessfully to break into the business some time between Jan. 31 and Feb. 2, police said.
According to the police report, a piece of metal had been broken off in one of the business's locks, and the handle and hinges on a door had been broken. It appeared no entry was made, police said.
Warrant Arrest Made
Michael M. Sinatra, of the 9S0-100 block of Lake Drive, Willowbrook, was arrested on a Cook County warrant for failure to appear in court on a disorderly conduct charge during a traffic stop at 1:18 p.m. near the intersection of 55th Street and Prospect Avenue, police said.
Another Ruby Street Egging
A resident from the 300 block of Ruby Street reported at 9:39 a.m. that their home was egged between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Feb. 1, police said.
FRIDAY, FEB. 1
DUI For Lyons Man
Ivica Lazich, 35, of the 7800 block of West 45th Place, Lyons, was charged with DUI after he appeared to be under the influence during a speeding stop near the intersection of 55th and Grant streets at 3:06 a.m., and refused an ensuing breath test, police said. He was released to appear in court.
No Valid License
Ramiro Botello, 47, of the 2400 block of Grove Avenue, Berwyn, was charged with driving without a valid license during a traffic stop for an equipment violation near the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Stonegate Road at 10:16 p.m., police said. He was released to appear in court.
THURSDAY, JAN. 31
Suspended License
John Cruse, 50, of the 0-100 block of West 60th Street, Westmont, was charged with driving on a suspended license and registration during a traffic stop near the intersection of 55th Street and Holmes Avenue at 5:22 a.m., police said. He was released to appear in court.
