12 Hinsdale Central Athletes Commit to Universities
The seniors were honored Tuesday morning during a signing ceremony before school.
Twelve Hinsdale Central athletes who plan to compete at the college level next year were honored Tuesday morning during a signing ceremony in front of their parents and coaches.
The 12 seniors compete in sports that range from football, to tennis, to swimming, and have committed to colleges that include Georgetown, Michigan, and University of Chicago.
The student athletes celebrated Tuesday morning are:
- Ernest Battaglia, University of Michigan, Wrestling
- Christian Bokich, Miami University (Ohio), Baseball
- Marika Cusick, Cornell University, Tennis
- Adam Dressler, Purdue University, Baseball
- Will Leach, Georgetown, Swimming
- Cara LoPiano, University of Chicago, Swimming
- Caroline Lorenzini, West Point Academy, Tennis
- Eddie Mapel, University of Missouri, Swimming
- Meghan McDowell, University of Virginia, Volleyball
- Ryan O'Donnell, University of Michigan, Diving
- Andrew Pyle, University of Pennsylvania, Football
- Bobby Skogsbergh, Boston College, Baseball
