Hinsdale Announces Plans to Honor Local Soldier Killed in Action
The Village of Hinsdale will conduct a ceremony to honor the service of PFC Gunnar R. Hotchkin who was killed in the line of duty in Afghanistan in June 2010.
The 31-year-old Hinsdale Central graduate was killed when a roadside blast flipped over the armored tank in which he was riding.
A plaque with his name inscribed on it will be unveiled in the vestibule of the Memorial Building on Tuesday, Oct. 19at 7 p.m.
